If you have a 361 the 383 heads will work, but they won't work on a 318.
Since a 1998 truck was not available with a 383 you would have modify a trans that bolts up to a 383 to fit the truck.
Your bike is to take 850 cc's and 1 quart is 946 cc's. The oil capacity is stamped on the motor by the fill plug in cc's.

The Dodge 383 is not a stroker like a Chevy small block engine. The 383 was a factory offering from Chrysler, and is one of the "B" series engines. It is very similar to the other Chrysler big blocks like the 413, 426, 400 and 440.
