There is none.
You can buy a range extender. Those can usually be turned into a bridge. You would then connect this to the ethernet jack on the Xbox. You tell the Xbox that it's connected via a wired connection. All the wireless setting is done on the wireless range extender that is setup as a bridge. Trust me, you won't be able to figure out how to set this up.
There is a generic wired way of doing this. It's called powerline. Check this out:

The configuration is simple. If you don't believe me, just read the reviews on the bottom link.
Belkin Wireless-G Network Adapter report that it works great, but they don't seem as thrilled about installing it.
The Xbox 360 utilizes a built in wireless N adapter that transmits wireless data between the Xbox and your wireless router.
Well, if you have a wireless adapter, then you should just plug it into the internet cord slot with the adapter on and all, then go to network settings, and if it is plugged in and it is a wireless adapter, your xbox will reconize it as one, and you can look for networks and set up networks, etc.PS I do not use an official xbox adapter and it works fine, but the official one is very simple and works perfectly, so if it still doesnt work, then the official one is something to look into! See you on XBL!
None do, just buy a wireless access point and then cable into your xBox.
You would change the wireless adapter when it no longer works or you want to use a newer standard. Sometimes you might want to install a different one when you need a longer range or want to install one that uses an external antenna.
It works well using ndiswrapper on Mandriva 2007 but it is not natively supported.
well, you need a router or a adapter first, then go to connections and click wired(adapter) or wireless(router) and test it, if it works, well, you have Wi-Fi!
No. A network adapter is usually a card that slots into your computer allowing it to access some kind of network, wired or wireless. A wireless router is a separate device that connects wireless clients (your computer) to some kind of network (usually the internet).
if you are willing to spend a little more you can get an adapter for wireless controllers, but a wired works the same.
The Wi-Fi works with the router receiving information from the internet. It then translates it into the radio signal and sending it to the computer wireless adapter.
The first thing to start is to restart your router as well your computer. After that make sure that you have a wireless adapter in your computer with the wireless network you have. Also if you are using security, make sure that adapter supports such security option. If nothing works and you know that your router is compatible with your adapter, try resetting the router and start everything over. PS: in most cases people have problems with routers because they are not configured properly or they are not compatible.
Any outdoor-rated antenna will work. Be sure to get one that fits your receiver, otherwise you may have to purchase an adapter.
