"The Southwest" is a very vague term without any particular borders and almost everywhere on the planet is south-west of somewhere else. The cultural area of North America that has often been called "The Southwest" is generally considered to include the pueblo tribes, the Apache tribes, the Navajo and all of the northern Mexican tribes. The Cheyenne belong to the Great Plains culture, not to the the Southwest.
