turn your steering wheel while at an idle. if you hear it stop its your Power Steering system, in my 98' ive traced it to my steering gear. if it doesnt stop it could be your lifters, check your oil level or if its old change it
Mine had a clicking noise and it turned out to be the front passanger side axle assembly.

where is the flasher unit on a 2004 Chevy classic? where is the flasher unit on a 2004 Chevy classic and could it be causing the clicking noise in the dash?
If the 1996 Olds Aurora will not start and there is a clicking noise from under the front panel, check the starter. The clicking noise is probably from the starter solenoid.
if its when you are breaking it is possible it could be a rotor if you hear like a roaring or grinding noise coming from that side also could be a wheel bearing
You have a bad CV joint (half shaft) needs replacing. Just take note of which side the noise is at, so you repair the correct one.
CHECK YOUR LUG NUTS
i would first balence the tires then try replacing the wheel bearings if the noise is coming from a specific area on the car In example left front, right front etc.
check oil and oil pressure if good sell it
Your battery is dead.
