I'm not sure which code you are talking about... Usually when you need to reset a computer you disconnect battery. Couple minutes is enough if doesn't help try to wait longer let's say 30 minutes or more.
You can disconnect the battery although this is not recommended. You can also use a code reader to read and reset the codes. If you fix the issue, it should reset by itself.
