I checked in general, and I found an item on eBay which sells Peugeot Partner fob battery as CR2016, but I cannot swear that's correct for an 01 model. Worth a try or a query at a Peugeot garage?
Refers to the battery in the car key! So it means you will need a new battery in the electronic key.
Cr2016 3v
Change battery at official dealer.
Answerbatteries to peugeot cars have to be changed by the dealer as the key then has to be reprogrammed to each individual car. it is a pain in the backside as i used to work for peugeot. I took my key to the local car parts shop,he not only sold them but fitted them to.It was that easy.
The battery in your key fob has a very low charge .Change battery as soon as possible.
well, I'm gussing it'sgonna have something to do with thescrew under the key, but I'm not sure past that I'm afraid!
It means your car gets low signal of the remote control ( key ), you have to change your key's batteries and the problem will be solved :)
CR2450
Unlike any other of the peugeot range of key fobs this one has to be reprogrammed by dealer, mine charged me £68 + vat..
ask the person you stole it from
This often happens after fitting a new battery in the key fob. Look in the hand book that's with the car, its a simple process of re-programming the fob to the car. Takes about 5 mins. If you do not have a hand book it can be downloaded from many sites including the Peugeot home site.
You wont lose the code by changing the battery. Just open the back and replace the battery . Make sure you use the correct battery and install in properly.
