If the distributor is installed corectley then it will run if you wire it like this. Look at the distributor cap and on the right side of it you will see 4 terminals were the wires go. From front of the cap to the rear terminal will be cylinder # 1-7-3-5
The left side of the cap has 5 terminals. From front one to the rear is 8-2-4-6 cylinders and the last one on the left side is were the coil wire goes. Cylinder #s on the engine is drivers side head front to rear is 1-3-5-7 and the other head front to rear is 2-4-6-8 Just wire it and match # to # and thats it.

YES, The 350 Vortec does. It is in the back top side of the engine. All the plug wires go to it.
Be sure the firing order is correct, you may have two wires crossed. The firing order is 1, 8, 4, 3, 6, 5, 7, 2.
Reuse your old 305 distributor.
it doesnt sound orthodox but cut the tach wires to the dash, it worked on my 94 with a 350.
