When playing the Clarinet, there should only be one reed on the mouthpiece at one time. However, you should always carry a spare in case the one you are using gets damaged.

∙ 15y agoA box of reeds ranges from nine dollars to about twenty dollars. The cost depends on what brand of reed you get as well as the hardness of the reeds. Harder reeds tend to cost more.
