How much do saxophone reeds cost?

When playing the clarinet, there should only be one reed on the mouthpiece at one time. However, you should always carry a spare in case the one you are using gets damaged. There is only ONE reed on the mouthpiece! ALWAYS carry a spare one in case the other reed breaks what kind of question is that?

What do you need to play a alto saxophone?

As a saxophone player myself, I can tell you that you don't need much to play the instrument. I suggest:A neck strapReeds (Around #2 reeds if you are a beginner)An saxophone (obviously)A mouthpieceA saxophone cleaner (basically a wipe on a string)That's about it. Of course music would come in handy, but if you're just practicing getting the notes out then there's no need yet. Good luck!

How much does Bassoon reeds cost?

The pricing is an arm per reed, but I'd suggest the value of a box of reeds for an arm and a leg. Of course you shouldn't use your own limbs, that would make playing the bassoon rather difficult. Btw, the grammatically correct form of your question is: "How much do bassoon reeds cost". And you really should just google a few online retailers, you'd get your answer much quicker.

How much does a used bassoon cost with reeds?

Can you use a sax reed for a clarinet?

Well yes and no. When you finger a note on alto and tenor the notes in the relative key (Bb for tenor and Eb for alto) are fingered the same way. So a C on an alto and a C on a tenor are fingered the same way, but sound different. On tenor it's a concert Bb, when on alto it's a concert Eb. But for fingering purposes and just generally learning the instrument, yes.
