When playing the Clarinet, there should only be one reed on the mouthpiece at one time. However, you should always carry a spare in case the one you are using gets damaged.
There is only ONE reed on the mouthpiece! ALWAYS carry a spare one in case the other reed breaks what kind of question is that?

The two windwoods that has reeds are,the saxophone and clarnet
An Alto Saxophone is one of the many types of saxophones, it is much smaller than many of them such as the tenor, baritone, and so many others. The Saxophone is also a wind instrument. For reeds, for the Alto the Best size is 2 1/2. Basic clean supplies include a string swap, old toothbrush or a scrubber, reeds.
One. They come in various sizes.
As a saxophone player myself, I can tell you that you don't need much to play the instrument. I suggest:A neck strapReeds (Around #2 reeds if you are a beginner)An saxophone (obviously)A mouthpieceA saxophone cleaner (basically a wipe on a string)That's about it. Of course music would come in handy, but if you're just practicing getting the notes out then there's no need yet. Good luck!

vandoren reeds, la voz reeds, stuff like that.
If you mean "reeds" no, trumpets do no use reeds. Some woodwind instruments use reeds, like the saxophone, clarinet, and oboe.

Instruments with reeds are called woodwinds. You would find several woodwind instruments in a regular band. These instruments are: * Clarinet * Oboe * Bassoon * Bass Clarinet * Contrabass Clarinet * Flute (though it does not have a reed, it is considered a woodwind) * Alto Saxophone * Tenor Saxophone * Baritone Saxophone (commonly known as "Bari Sax")
