I have a 25 thousand gallon gunite pool which I think is small to maybe medium and we live here in CT and were quoted about 7 to 8 thousand dollars for replaster and tile replacement services. This did not include the cost of tile itself. It was also pointed out that our caulking was an older style caulking technique and that today there are different and imporoved caulking techniques for gunite pools (this is the small space between the concrete walls of your pool and any patio or decking that you may have) and that we should consider replacing those at the same time (which I do agree with as you can clearly walk up to the side of our pool and pull it right out, when it is not falling out all by itself) and this would be an added cost of about a thousand. So what??? We're looking now at 9-10 with tile costs? Im trying to figure out how to get a better price or save myself money. Let me know if you have any info to share during your research.
Depends on the product you want to use. There are now variations of even quartz content, so prices can go up depending to the durability you're seeking, just like roofing, can go from $100 per sq to 600 per sq Basic white plaster is the cheapest, with an 85 perimeter pool running about 1500 dollars on up... Answer my pool is about 115 to 120 perimeter how much to plaster vs. pebble sheen In Arizona the starting price to re-plaster a pool with most companies is about $2450.00, it depends on the size of the pool and how many benches, steps.
depending on what tile place you go through and how many square meter of section you would like to tile the cost can range from $45-60.00 for the more budget otherwise i recommend you call tile post and see what they could offer for your own needs
You don't need to tile a pool, if you use a good waterproof concrete render and paint it using proper swimming pool paint. (don't use emulsion)
it depends on the size…but normally it would cost like 96¢ for a tile that would be the size of a 4 by 4 tile.
Buy a great product called Borderlines adhesive tile borders for swimming pool liners, you can find it at any pool and spa website.
Glass bead is the best media when cleaning swimming pool tile. Glass beads are environmentally friendly and will not damage your swimming pool tile during the cleaning process. The beads are manufactured from silica- and lead-free glass and are round in shape. Because of their spherical shape, the beads are able to hit the tile surface without scratching or damaging it. Glass beads provide the best pool tile cleaning results. They are more effective and safer than harsh chemicals, and will save you time and money over pumice stones.
