The mass air flow sensor on a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird can be found between the throttle body and the air box duct. Some of the items needs to change the sensor are straight edge screwdriver, shop vac, and T-20 security bit driver.
It depends on what size engine you have. If it is a 3.1 look on the back side of engine on the passenger side right below the the manifold and oil pressure sending unit. Anyway that is were it is on my 93 lumina 3.1. ON MY 94 3.1 SUNBIRD THATS WHERE IT IS TO..
Well, Pontiac didnt make a sunfire in 1994 is it a 95 sunfire or 94 sunbird?
In the 1994 2.0L engine sunbirds, the VSS is located above the passenger's side drive axle, I would imagine the location is the same for a 3.1.
