You are a Hindu, as long as you talk about the God. It does not make the difference, if you admit the existence of God or not. But then your opinion should be honest and best to your belief and faith. You are Hindu, as long as you are tolerant. The true Hindu will always listen to the opinion of others. He will discuss his idea with you. But he will never be violent. There may be very hot discussion, but no physical force will be used to convince others. You are not a Hindu, if you go on forcing your faith on others. You are not a Hindu, if you hate others views about the God. If a Hindu can worship the 330 million gods, why will he not go to the church and pray to Lord Jesus? You apply vermilion to the stone on any road side. The Hindu will bow there with folded hands. That is what the Hindu is all about. Lord Buddha traveled all over the India. He found the people with different types of beliefs and faith. He tried different methods of worship. He found the true path. He propagated his views across the whole subcontinent. He was not killed or even harmed by any body. That is Hinduism is all about. You are not a Hindu, if you take a radical view. That means, if you say that I and only me is correct. Other should fallow me or else I will kill you. You are not a Hindu, if you go on killing people for the difference of the opinion. Hinduism is the way of life, way of thinking, that is going to persist. The so called radical elements, that you see at times, are not true Hindus.
