A competitive relationship is a relationship where each person is trying to compete with the other in everyday life. This could include races, cooking the best meal, having the most friends on Facebook... Anything! It just means both of them are constantly trying to outdo the other. This is very unhealthy for relationships and can often result in it ending if the problem isn't fixed.
