Persia was an impire that existed 2005 years ago. the famous king of these country was KOUROSH who the history believes that was defeated by Alexander from Greece.

Persia is English word for a country that it's people call it Iran in thei language.

so the past Persia refers to the Persian impire and the latest Persia refers to existing country Persia(Iran)and it's capital city is tehran.

if you are interested in red wine I would like to inform you that the Shiraz red wine comes from the city of shiraz . this city used to be the capital city of the past Persia.
