There are many huge differences. First of all, you can connect with friends over Wi-Fi and wirelessly to interact with your friend in your or his/her town. Second, there are many new fish, bugs, fossils, paintings, animals, and items to find or meet. You can also wear accessories and change your hair. Third, many of the events and special holidays from the Animal Crossing for the Gamecube like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Halloween are gone in Wild World. There are also many new characters to meet, mainly the important ones. Blathers now has a sister in the upper room in the museum named Celeste. She helps you create your own constellations in the sky to see during the night. Also, Brewster, a pigeon in the basement of the museum who sells you coffee once a day, comes into Wild World. Dr. Shrunk is a new character, and he has the ability to teach you the emotions that your neighbors in town use so you can use them whenever you want. The Able Sisters' shop is now the only place in Animal Crossing: Wild World to buy shirts, while in the original Animal Crossing, Tom Nook carried everything. Pascal is another chracter you can meet. He appears near the beach once w\every week and will trade your scallop (if you have one) for one piece of his rare furniture. The Civic Center is also brand new, a place where you can pay off debt and mail letters at the same time.

Animal Crossing is the older version and is for Nintendo GameCube. Animal Crossing Wild World is the newer version and is for Nintendo DS. Both games are similar, but most events in the first game where changed to something else in the second game.

I just wanted to say that sometimes people don't like to say, "Animal Crossing Wild World" , or, " Are you going to play Animal Crossing Wild World?" now Animal Crossing Wild World can be a tongue twister and people sometimes just say Animal Crossing or ACWW (abbreviation for Animal Crossing Wild World) so that is all I had to say. I totally agree with what is up there but I just wanted to put this is so yeah whatever anyways if you have any comments just leave them below. =)

Response:

I so agree with you! I dont say "Are you going on animal crossing wild world?", we just say "Are you going on animal crossing?". Its soo much better & easier to say! If yo u would like to add a comment to this just write it in the space below(:

To lose weight on animal crossing, what you do is this. You go find any fruit (except a pair it just doesn't work!) take it out and eat it right in front of any towns folk keep eating it again and again, after about 8-12 fruits they will get the blue marks above there heads and then you talk to them.... they will say something like this "So & So you need to stop eating maybe you should loose weight!" i know kind of harsh but then they say to go to nooks to get some medicine (Doesn't matter what store just make sure it is nooks store!) buy the medicine and eat it right in front of the towns folk you ate your fruit in front of. Then the game will say that you have lost weight the towns person will give you a gift. If you are a girl you will receive the rarest bow. It is the pearl bow next to the crown it is a valuable item to sell if you are a guy you get the golden dumb bells! This is very true and it totally works.

It is much better. There are so many new features, and buying Wild World is completely worth the money, especially if your friend has it. That way, you can come over to his town or he can come over to your town. If you liked the original game, you'll love Wild World.

There are dozens of differences between animal crossing: wild world and animal crossing city folk. First off, animal crossing city folk actually has holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter. There is also a city which holds many new and fabulous shops like Gracie Grace and the HRA academy. There are many new fish and bugs to catch as well as new furniture and fossils. Four people can move in, but each in a different house of their own. Also, 10 people can stay in your town at a time in Animal Crossing City Folk.

That depends- if you want a portable Animal Crossing so you can take care of your town anywhere and love multiplayer, than Wild World is for you.

If you are at home most of the time and are more of a solo player who has time to take care of the town, than City Folk is for you.
