- B: A stock bodied van built by Ford, Dodge, Chev or recently Mercedes Sprinter. This basic van then has an interior added to it to turn it into an RV
- C: A Van nose similar to the vans built into class B but only the nose, sometimes called a cab and chassis that then has a full RV body added to the bare frame at the rear and overhanging the cab.

Choosing your type of motorhome would depend upon your specific needs. If you require a home away from home for lengthy stretches of time on the road, you may want to consider the purchase of a large Class-A type. If your needs are constant but require a smaller living condition, a camper van, or Class-B may be suitable, or if you fall somewhere in between, the Class-C motorhome may serve your travel needs. Each comes with its own set of provisions and issues for the traveler to consider before purchase. Class-A motorhomes are the largest of the motorized travel homes and come with conveniences such as full sized kitchens with double door refrigerators, microwaves, bathrooms with showers, sinks and a toilet. Sleeping cabins which can fit up to ten people comfortably, satellite television and internet capability. These motorhomes can easily abide the consistently active lifestyles of many people while affording the avid traveler a sense of home while on the road. However, most Class-A drivers must either tow small cars behind or rent cars when they arrive at their final destination as these larger motorhomes cannot be conveniently driven inside smaller city or in-town streets. Class-B motorhomes, also called camper vans, are smaller than Class-A motorhomes, but still maintain the same conveniences.
