There are two major differences; there are more programs in Office Enterprise:

Access, Communicator, Excel, Groove, Infopath, Onenote, Outlook, Powerpoint, Publisher and Word

Home and Student comprises:

Excel, Onenote, Powerpoint and Word.

There is also a licensing differences; Home and Student should only be used for non-commercial purposes.

Both programs are the same. The Student and Teacher edition is to be sold only to students and teachers at a lower price in order to support education. Note that there is equivalent software, such as OpenOffice.org, which is completely free.

Home & Student contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint & One Note. it comes in either a single product key or a 3-user disc.

Home and Business contains Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, & Outlook. It comes in either a single product key or a 2-user disc.

Also, Home and Business may be used for commercial use, but Home and Student may only be used for non-commercial use.
