The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (sometimes abbreviated to DPRK) is an Asian democracy (although, in reality it is a Dictatorship). The name of the country in Korean is 조선민주주의인민공화국 and usually informally referred as North Korea. It is located North of the Republic of Korea (abbreviated as ROK, informally referred to as South Korea), South of Manchuria, West of the Japanese Islands and borders the Yellow Sea and the East Sea/Sea of Korea/Sea of Japan.
