One common characteristic of TurksThe cultural differences can be summarized. Yet to truly gain an intimate idea of the differences, you really need to learn a little about each culture. And the differences are too vast to cover accurately, in a few brief sentences. For a clear vision of the differences many stories need to be conveyed. It depends on what aspect of the two cultures you're wanting to compare. Focussing on one striking trait of Turks that stand out. We can unequivically state that in general Turks, are warm, cordial, giving. To the extent of taking the shirt off their back to give to a shy stranger. A stranger they may insist come in from the rain, whom they sense may need help. And without asking any questions feed, clothe, shelter that stranger, while offering him aid and comfort. They will share the most modest of meals and make an extra place on the table. Even if they're already strained by poverty and of limited means. An American may do the same but is more likely to be apprehensive about finding a stranger at his doorstep, and letting him in.
