Not much anymore, just trim and interiore are usually different. Back in the day a GMC was just a little fancier than a Chevy, just like Ford was with Mercury. Also, GMC used to use different engines than Chevys, but I think the last of this was in the early seventies, but even in the sixties you could find Chevy engines in GMCs. you mean a Gmc Yukon Xl well they are simillar it just that I think that the Yukon XL is bigger than the Chevy suburban and the grille looks bigger

C20 was Chevy's designation for a 3/4 ton. 2500 was GMC's designation for a 3/4 ton. Basically they are the same.
