the difference between a continent and state is that a state is a large form of land which included countries, citeies, states or provinces. North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Australia, Africa and Antarctica are all continents. A state is a form of land inside the United States. It only has cities and counties. Some examples are California, Texas, Florida and Minnesota,
