What is the difference between a normal VW beetle and a VW Super beetle?

Some early 71' & 72' VW Super Beetles had flat windshields, later bugs had curved.
Major changes were MacPherson struts and changes to the front skirt. The struts ride smoother but can be a pain to replace without proper gear. Unless you know what you're doing it is better left to a pro.
