Whats the difference between an RN degree and a nursing degree?

You do not get a RN (Registered Nurse) degree. To become a RN you earn an associate degree in nursing then take the state nursing exam. If you pass you are then a RN.
You can also get a 4 year degree in nursing, which will make you even more marketable. Then, you would be an RN with a BSN. You still have to take the state nursing exam.

∙ 13y agoAn RN is a registered nurse. She may or may not have a college degree. A Graduate Nurse may be an RN with a college degree in nursing. LPN is a licensed practical nurse. She is a licensed nurse but not an RN.
