A short ram intake replaces your stock air box with an aluminum pipe (usually) with a filter on it inside of your engine bay.
A cold air is longer and puts the end of the filter as low and as frontward as possible, to get the benefits of being away from the engine bay as well as being in a position to take in all the air being forced against your car as you drive at high speeds.
The downside to the added power from the cold air design though, is that the intake is more exposed to puddles, flooding, etc. , which could lead to your engine ingesting water, possibly damaging it.
The crankshaft has nothing to do with a short are long block. A short block is everything but the heads and intake. A long block has the heads and intake all ready on it, Its the complete engine. You have to put the heads and intake on the short block yourself. That is the difference.
difference between short, near and far jump
Nothing at all. A long block is the complete engine. A short block is just the engine with no intake, exhaust, or accessories installed.
Ram air intake aka, short ram intakes are good for low end horsepower and torque Cold air intakes have more horsepower gaines then short ram and more top end power. If your looking for more torque then horsepower, meaning more acceleration but dont care about topping out your car, then short ram intake is what you want. If you already have enough torque and just want more horsepower and go fast as possible, then cold air intake is what you want.
the long term is different between a short term because the short
It depends on the intake that you get. There are short ram air and cold air intakes. Cold air intakes are preferred amongst rsx enthusiasts because of the cold air that is being sucked into the motor. On average, about 3-14 HP can be obtained from an intake. The quality and type of intake is what makes the difference between a lot and a little HP.
nothing
There is no difference. Limo is just short for limousine.
The difference between the short and long carbon cycle is that the short cycle emphasizes the interaction between the biosphere and atmosphere while the long cycle emphasizes the formation and destruction of fossil fuels.
