India:-
(1) In India farmers live very far away from there farms so it takes time to get to there farm and in the USA farmers stay very near to there farm.
(2) In India land is very less land is available with the farmers and in the USA large amount on land is available with farmers.
(3) In India electricity is not easily available in villages whereas in the USA there is no problem of electricity.
(4) In India farmers don 't have additional income from dairies and piggery 's whereas USA farmers have additional income from these fields.
USA:-
(1) Farmers in USA occupy large land in hectares. (1) Farmers in India occupy small lands.
(2) These farmers are literate and are actually buisinesman. (2) These farmers are illiterate and are just small farmers.
(3) They are well developed and use modern technology and techniques to treat their land. (3) They aren 't well developed and use
ancient techniques.

USA is a commercially strong country. The people of USA are very hard working . While cultivating or planting crops they use the most advanced tools and machines. The farmers in USA are very rich and literate. The people of USA don't consider farming a thing of embarrassment or insult . If you visit USA the lands where crops are cultivated are very big .
While in India lands are very small . It is due to rule that from the fathers property each son will get one part . So if father has big land and it is divided between 4 sons then automatically the land will be small . If the first son is going to set up a factory in his land then the other 3 brother will still be engaged in farming.
In India farming is considered a thing of embarrassment. Even today also people think that the farmers are illiterate and poor. When we think about farmer the 1st picture in our mind is of a thin man holding a spade on a small field.
They have nothing in common, especially if you are referring to the very large number of subsistence farmers in India.
1. There are essentially no subsistence farmers in the U.S.
2. Even those farmers in the U.S. that deliberately eschew modern machinery (the Amish, etc.) typically use a higher level of technology than the typical Indian farmer.
They also farm more efficiently: Indian fields and farm holding are, in general, too small to be farmed efficiently.
3. The net result is that farmers in India have a standard of living which parallels their very very low productivity
4. Indian farm is small whereas US farm is large
In India, the farmers are usually ignorant or too poor to use modern technology in farming while in the US, the farmers are well equipped with modern farming instruments and other improved farming techniques. In India, the land available with an average farmer is less in comparison to that of an average US farmer. In the US there are better working conditions for men and women farmers than in India.
India is a developing country. India doesn't have the ability to restore efficiency in agriculture. The US is a developed country and a large percentage of farming today is done by big companies, rather than family farmers.
In USA an average farm is about 250 hectares and in India an average farm is about 2.3 hectares.
Indians use poor technology , whereas USA uses the most advanced technology in the world.
Indian farmers commit suicide due to hunger and poor life, whereas US farmers do not.
Indian rupee rate is very less as compared to USA.
Indians farmers struggle a lot, due to lack of facility of irrigation and knowledge, whereas US farmers do not.
India mostly depends on rain water for irrigation, some farms in the US have advanced systems for irrigation.
India uses US fertilisers, US brand seed, US technology. USA does not need Indians support for their agriculture.

USA has effectively ruined their land quality because of years of mono-culture of crops like wheat and corn.
USA farms are run on the basis of capitalist agendas, therefore whatever can be produced the cheapest is produced. Even things like plastic and sugar is made from corn because it's cheap.
Individual farming towns in the US have been reduced to ghost towns, because of the mono-culture environment.
US is force feeding the its cattle and pigs the excess corn it produces, in spite of the fact that cattle has not evolved to eat corn. This results in substandard meat, which is again shelved in the market or exported.
Because of non-diverse over-production of a single crop, US has to force it's way into other countries economies, so that they buy the excess crop.
USA is where the "hybrid" varieties of crop took birth, where a farmer has to keep on buying new seeds every planting season from corporations like Monsanto rather than storing the nutritionally beneficial heirloom seeds, which every other farmer does.
Because of the intensive use of chemical pesticides, the crops and their derived foods(bread etc.) destroy the gut bacteria, which has resulted in exponential increase in brain disorders, and renaming of 'Adult-type Diabetes' to 'Type- II' because children in the US are suddenly developing diabetes due to abnormal obesity.
India still has time to correct its course and not follow the US example. US probably cannot.
