Analogous means that the structures have different origins, but they do the same things. Homologous means the opposite: that they have the same origins but are adapted to do different functions.
Homologous structures have the same basic plan but are adapted for different function.
For example, the pentadactyl limb of vertebrates has the same arrangement of bones in a bat's wing, a human arm, a dolphins flipper and a mole's claw. Although the basic plan is the same (single bone, two parallel bones, a block of bones and five digits) the plan has been adapted for a range of purposes.
Analogous structures do the same job but have different origins, for example a moth's wing and an eagle's wing, or an ant's leg and a dog's leg.

They Are Analogous
1. HOMOLOGOUS ( morphological and anatomical evidences ) .These are the organs that have same basic structural plan and origin but different functions. 2. ANALOGOUS These are the organs that have different origin and structure plan but same function
because yea
They don't. Homologous structures provide evidence for evolution not analogous structures.
A diploid cell differs from haploid is that the diploid cell has homologous chromosomes as when the haploid cell doesn't have homologous chromosomes.

Homologous = same origin, different function (arms vs. wings) Analogous = same function, different origin (panda thumb)
analogous
Analogous!
Homologous organs have similar embryonic origin and basic structure whereas Analogous organs have different embryonic origin and basic structure. Homologous organs may look different and may perform different function; e.g., forelimb of a man and flipper of a whale. Whereas Analogous organs look alike and perform same functions; e.g., Wings of birds and insects.
They Are Analogous
They are both. They are homologous because they are both examples of a vertebrate forelimb. They are analogous because they were adapted for flight independently of one another.
Analogous Features.
Homologous organs have similar looking structure and similar origin but different functions . Whereas analogous is just the opposite analogous organs are those that have similar function but different origin and structure
describe a chemical test you would use to show the difference between an isomer and a homologous series
