Being in love is when you love someone for who they are. Being in love with the idea of someone is when you love what you want them to be, but not who you truly are.

Answer

There are some people out there who just want to be in love with Someone...they really don't care who. That would be being in love with the idea of being in love. Really being in love is when you meet someone, that special person who has an effect on you like no one else does, who you want to spend your time with, share things with, do things to make them happy, be there for them, etc. That person is WHO you want to be with and cannot be replaced by someone else.
