Google.com is a general networking site & Google.co.in is an Indian networking service provider corporation. [.com] is a general worldwide communication which is used by peoples of the whole world. [.in] is a branch of Google who serves Indians. several countries uses these type of extensions[Russia-.ru, china-.cn, Pakistan-.pk].
The only difference between them is Google.com is supposed to be used by the people of USA and Google.co.in is supposed to be used by the the Indians.............
Though search results are same but there preference of search data is different for the people of different countries....
