The act of being mean is technically bullying.
bullying is trying to hurt someone emotionally or pysically and fooling around is kinda like bullying but your just trying to be funny and don't mean it
Yes, in a large number of cases one person has made the difference between the continuation of bullying.
Bullying generally happens between individuals, and war between countries, and involving hundreds of people. In war, both countries fight each other, whereas in bullying, there is a bully and a victim.
School yard bullying happens at school or on playgrounds, in person. Cyber bullying is when someone sends you threatening or harassing emails or messages on the internet, or when they send mean or cruel emails/messages about you to others. It may be from someone you know, or it may be someone who just happened to see your name or email address some where.
Bullying involves repeated aggressive behavior intended to intimidate or harm another person emotionally, socially, or physically. Violence typically refers to actions or behaviors that cause physical harm or injury to another person. While bullying can be a form of violence, not all violence involves the repeated and intentional targeting of an individual as seen in bullying.
Something that strongly discourages bullying, eg. an anti-bullying seminar.
Bullying is NOT just hurting your friend's feelings. It is an imbalance of power between two people. The bully has learned by watching some members of his/her family. It is a completely inappropriate way of dealing with a difference of opinion. It can take many different forms. There are primarily six different types of bullying. They are 1) Physical, 2) Verbal 3) Indirect, 4) Social alienation 5) Intimidation and 6) Cyberbullying. I provide a detailed description of each one of these in my book "My Do's and Dont's For Bully-Proofing Your Child." You can find my book on Amazon or Facebook.
I'd suggest being very careful with that comparison. Obviously, bullies among the camp guards had a field-day, but there's a vast difference between bullying and genocide. I don't see the two as comparable.
It doesn't actually mean difference, but it can be used to get the difference between values. 11 subtract 4 is 7, and 7 is the difference between 4 and 11.
the only one i can think of is that they both hurt the person they're bullying
The difference between arithmetic and geometric mean you can find in the following link: "Calculation of the geometric mean of two numbers".
