Answer 1I have looked at this topic myself and I couldn't find any answers. What I believe is that the Canon (with 46 books in the Old Testament), while The Bible contains all of 39 books in the Old Testament, and 27 in the New Testament.

Answer 2

The Bible is a particular anthology of books, forming a singular holy scripture. While Jews and the different Christian sects may disagree about which books compose the Bible, they all agree that the Bible is one anthology.

Religious Canon is the group of all major books and anthologies that a particular religion uses. For example, the Nicene Creed is an important part of the Catholic and Orthodox religious canon, but is less important to Protestants and irrelevant tp Jews. The religious canon includes all of these different pieces of literature in addition to the Bible. (Or if the person is discussing a non-Judeo-Christian religion, the Bible may not even be part of the religious canon.)

What is the definition of the word canonical?

A canon is a law or rule, usually made by a religious body. The Roman Catholic Church has a book of Canon laws that determine what is or is not canonically correct. For example, a priest is forbidden to marry by canon law. The word is also used for the canon of books contained in the Bible. A list of canonicalbooks would be those approved for inclusion in the Bible. The Roman Catholic edition of the Bible has more books than a Protestant version has.
