Lutherans are Christians. They are a smaller denomination within the larger group of Christians, which are those who believe in Jesus and recognise Him as their Lord and Saviour. Christians also encompass other denominations, such as Baptist, Anglican, Uniting, Pentecostal, etc.
I'm pretty sure that Lutheran is more conservative than baptist. It's way more conservative than Evangelical Christianity, that's for sure.
Here's my take:
The Lutheran denomination was started by Martin Luther, a specific historical figure, and the Baptists emerged from varied movements related to the Puritans and the Anabaptists. Baptists have no one founder and don't look to the Protestant reformers, like Luther and Calvin, as authorities. They look only to the Bible. Lutherans baptize babies and sometimes worship like Episcopalians. Baptist worship is nearly always simple - in the southern US, Baptist worship is often emotional like Pentecostal worship (usually minus the "speaking in tongues") but in the northern US, Baptist worship is usually identical to worship in Presbyterian, Congregationalist, and other mainline Protestant denominations.
Note that many Baptists don't want to be associated with the Southern Baptists and fundamentalists, who have a bad reputation outside of the south. They often name their churches in a non-denominational fashion, such as "Community Chapel," and call themselves simply "Christians." Odds are most of the "non-denominational" churches in your area are really re-branded Baptists if they aren't Pentecostals.
Christianity is a religion
Lutheranism is a branch of that religion
Just like Catholicism or Methodism.
So
All Lutherans are Christians
But
Not all Christians are Lutheran
by grace alone
The Salvation Army is a Christian organization and NOT a church denomination.

Catholic mass is a specific form of Christian worship that follows the liturgical traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. Christian Mass is a broader term that refers to any worship service conducted in the Christian faith, which includes various denominations such as Protestant, Orthodox, and Catholic.
Lutheran Bible has 66 books and Catholic Bible has 73 books. There is no difference in the New Testament of Catholics and Lutheran. However, Catholics consider 7 more books as divine in the Old Testament of the Bible.
The synods of the Lutheran Church represent different regions of the country. Each synod may have different doctrines, as well.
The Maryland Toleration Acts of 1649 declared religious freedom to all Christian denominations.
Well, Lutheranism is based off the same background as Christian Reformed, but is a bit different. Lutheranism is not as based off of Faith as much as Christian Reformed. Although Faith is in the Lutheran Religion, childhood education on the subject plays a big role. For example, being Confirmed in a Lutheran Church is needed to take communion. Whereas, in a Christian Reformed Church the choice to take communion is given to you, providing the trust that you are a born again Christian, and have accepted Christ into your life. Other differences in the Churches include small variations in the service. These include the way the Pastor is dressed, the traditional music played in a Lutheran Church is guided by the hymnals, therefore singing Hymns, and the choic on the communion. In a Christian Reformed Church, worship music is played, the Pastor is dressed formally, and the communion is solely based off of faith and belief.
The Protestant denominations are Christians churches that have separated from the Catholic church in protest over theological interpretations or polices of the Catholic church that they believe to be incorrect. All Protestants are Christian, but not all Christians are Protestant.
There is no difference, Catholics are Christians, if you are asking about the difference between a particular protestant wedding and a Christian Catholic wedding, then you should ask that.

In Christian denominations, baptism is a symbol of being completely cleansed. There are two main methods: full immersion, and the pouring water on the head. A number of denominations practice full immersion baptism (LDS, Baptists), where the whole body is briefly immersed in water. Sprinkling is the term given to the mode of pouring by those who do not believe that it is a legitimate baptism.
