Canada is usally much colder because its more north than the US
The climate is similar between the northern states of the US and Canada.
The primary difference between US and Canada biomes lies in their geographic diversity and climate. The US features a wider variety of biomes, including deserts, grasslands, and temperate rainforests, due to its varying climates from tropical to arctic. Canada, on the other hand, is predominantly characterized by boreal forests and tundra, reflecting its colder climate and northern latitude. This leads to distinct ecosystems and species distributions between the two countries.
U.S.A.'s is elected. Canada's isn't.
that the US mainly focus on individual rights and Canada focus on group rights
Canada's health benefits, or most of, are paid for by taxes.

How is Canada's climate related to its northerly location?
In some parts that is so, but not everywhere. Don't forget Canada is a vast area.
There is no difference between Christmas in the US and in Canada. Christmas is a religious holiday, therefore it has the same date everywhere (the 25th of December), and in Canada and the US, because of the fact that we share all types of media, from TV stations to movies to magazines, the secular holiday (santa Claus and his reindeer etc.) is also the same.
