The disadvantages of Micrsoft Publisher is that if you lose your work you might have to research it all again and you will have to write it all over again that's only if you did not save it in the first place.

So make sure that you save your work before going of the computer and then when you come back to it, it will all be there for you.

DTP had its heyday in the 1990s.

MS Publisher is a desktop publishing program.

It is intended for print publishing.

Print publishing is the lowest form of digital:

No rich media content

No hypertext structure

inactive links

Working with print publishing is declining.

All newspapers today have a social media and online publishing strategy.

It is not an authentic program.

The real world using InDesign, Quark or PageMaker for the production of printed publications.

The free program Scribus looks more like these.

In addition, it is incompatible with a print strategy that favors large production machines to have a program that prefer direct connection to a local printer.

. pub files can only be opened completely with Publisher.
