Another Viewpoint:
There are a lot of galaxies in the constellation of Hydra.
The distance to the main cluster of galaxies (called Hydra 1) is about 165 million light years.
This cluster of galaxies has a redshift. Remember the redshift only shows the motion directly away from Earth.
The best estimate I have found of how fast it's moving away from Earth is
a speed of 0.0114 times the speed of light.
That can be written as 0.0114 c.
That's quite a bit different from the answer given above.
A constellation, like Hydra, is basically a direction in space. It doesn't make sense to talk about its distance. Anything in that general direction is said to be "in the constellation Hydra".
It's meaningless to talk about the "distance from Earth to Hydra" because Hydra is not a physical object, it's a patch of sky containing many, many stars, all at different distances.
Hydra or Hydra
Moons: In order of distance from the planet, they are Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra. Satellites: N/A
Hydra is an animal. Animals never have chloroplasts
Depending on where Mercury is relative to the Earth as the two planets orbit the sun, the distance from Mercury to Earth varies from 77.3x106km and 221.9x106km.
Earth is part of our solar system.
LHS 3003 is the closest star to earth from constellation hydra.( 20.67 light years away )
LHS 3003
"the gravity of the earth cannot explain.that's it. ty
Hydra is a constellation made up of many stars. Each star is a different distance from us, so it's impossible to answer how far away it is.
distance earth from the sun
Varying from the the distance from the Earth to the Moon + the distance from the sun to the earth + the distance from mercury to the sun, to the distance from the earth to the sun - the distance from mercury to the sun - the distance from the earth to the moon
Hydra or Hydra
Hydra is the largest constellation covering 1303 square degrees. Although from the Earth the 75 or so Flamsteed stars comprising Hydra appear to be related to one another, they are radially separated by millions of light years. There is, therefore, no coherent gravitational force.
Around 0 mm, but one should ask what is the earth's distance to the earth in the earth
what is distance of capella from earth
Moons: In order of distance from the planet, they are Charon, Styx, Nix, Kerberos, and Hydra. Satellites: N/A
The distance from earth to the moon is 250,000 miles.
