Legally, you are breaking the law if you consume alcohol under the age of eighteen (18) in the UK. Additionally - anyone who supplies alcohol to someone under that age commits a criminal offense. However - You can drink alcohol in a pub provided you are (a) at least sixteen (16), (b) accompanied by an adult and (c) the drink is served at the same time as a meal.

The question is kind of vague, I'm going to assume your talking about going into a bar and only drinking non alchoholic drinks, in which any age would be ok depending on whether minors are allowed in. If there are no minors allowed the age would be 18. The other issue is that businesses have the right to keep people out if they so choose as long as its not based on race, creed.
In the United States, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink in a licensed establishment.

It depends on the laws of your country. Here in the UK, a person under 18 can be on licensed premises for a meal - PROVIDED (1) they're accompanied by an adult and (2) they don't drink alcohol.
you have to be 18 to buy, drink or possess alcohol on licensed premises, unless its supplied by a parent.
