I was diagnosed with herpes simplex virus about 15 years ago or a little longer. I was recently informed that my ex-husband may have given the herpes to me from oral sex. I am now having throbbing gums and irritation in the whole lower teeth area. My doctor and several dentists do not know what is causing the problem. I told them about the herpes but they still have no answers. Could you please help me or tell me what to do?
