Current production would be the Kawasaki Ninja 250R at 30 hp. For 2011, it could be expected that the CBR 250r will top that. However, the fastest 250 4 stroke production motorcycle of all time past and present still remains the discontinued 1990 FZR 250 with 45 hp, 4 cyclinders with 4 valves each, liquid cooling, a variable exhaust system and a rev limit of 17000. These specifications have not been matched since.
I believe that the smallest motorcycle is at least 250cc's.
