Le Mans prototype cars are not a specific model, they're cars like the McLaren F1 / Ford GT40 etc built specifically for the "Le Mans" events.
The Le Mans events are endurance-based, not speed-based but to answer your question an example of some of the top speeds reached during these events are around 300 km/h which would translate to about 185mph, although peak speeds for some of these have gotten over 350 km/h (217 mph).
