Unscrew the locknut securing the fuel shutoff valve to the fuel tank and remove the valve. Put rag under the tank to keep drips off motor - remove the fuel filter from the shutoff valve. Clean with a medium soft toothbrush and blow with compressed air. Replace if defective.
