Simple to remember... 1432 and the distributor rotor rotates clockwise. Just remember to jump the 4 in front of 123.
#1 Cylinder is on the forward right looking into the engine compartment and next to it is #2.
On the left forward is #3 and next to it #4.
Cast into most generator tower bases is 1432.
