it says on the placard on the hood . it should also say in the owners manual if you dont have one go to the local library and look up the order for the 4 cylinder number 1 is on the back right of the distributor and goes counter clockwise to 2,3 and 4. the cylinders are numbered 1,2,3, and 4 from front to back for the 6 cylinder number 1 on the distributor is just left of the farthest back and goes counter clockwise as well. and the cylinders are numbered 1,3, and 5 on the left (front to back) and 2,4, and 6 on the right. all directions given are as you are facing the engine
