Not sure about a V-6 but on a straight six it is almost invariably- l-5 3-6 2-4. It has been argued the Chicago song ( 25 or six to 4) is a garbled version of this- somehow Twenty five could sound like ( One and Five) 3-6- 2-4 now to run in the magneto switch to Start!
