Could be a faulty temp sending unit.
Mercon III is for older trucks up to ~2000, for an 05 truck I'd go Mercon V. Check with the dealer or knowledgeable tranny shop.

The 2005 Ford F1 50 evaporator drain tube is attached to the bottom of the evaporator. The drain to will go from the evaporator to the bottom of the engine compartment.
