When starting a new world on Minecraft, the first thing to do is to find wood. Spend your very first day punching trees. Along the way, try and kill three sheep, thus gaining wool. Use three of your wood to make a bed and survive the first night with minimum mobs spawning.

The second day, pack your bed up in your inventory and continue to collect wood. On the third day, you may begin construction of your house or you can make some wooden planks with your wood, make a pick-axe, collect 8 pieces of stone, make torches, and then begin mining. When you have a substantial house and a elaborate mine, you can spend the most of your days in your mines finding diamonds, so that you can one day, relax.

In minecraft, the first thing you should do is gather resources, such as wood, stone, and food. This will help you build tools and shelter to survive the first night. Additionally, exploring your surroundings and locating a good spot for a base is crucial.
