To make Papier Mâché, you will need the following ingredients:
5 Cups Of Boiling Water
1/2 Cups of Regular Temperatured water (as this will be added to the boiling water, also)
3 Tsp. Of Sugar
1/2 A Cup Of Flour
Mix together the flour, and the regular temped water. Boil two cups of water, and after mixing the other 2 cups of water, and flour, (should come to a soupy paste) but them in with the boiling water, and mix, and then turn off burner, and let set for two to three minutes. This paste should start to thicken. Then take your newspaper strips, and go about with your business!
You need to have newspaper, paste, and a form.
Tear the newspaper into strips, dip in into the paste, clean off excess paste, and then place on the form you made, let dry for a day or two, paint.
You can use wheat paste, white glue, or other adhesives easily available; add water to it if necessary to make it thinner.
