Original Answer: 100 percent coolant freezing point -60 celcius
This is baldly incorrect. 100% solution of ethylene glycol-based antifreeze is approximately -12 degrees celcius, higher for many of the lower quality products (which have a lower concentration of ethylene glycol). The optimum solution is about 60% antifreeze and 40% water. The reason for this is that the two molecule types (ethylene glycol and water) interfere with each other's ability to attract like molecules and crystalize, or freeze. A higher concentration of either liquid will reduce this affect and raise the freezing point.
For warmer climates, 20% antifreeze is probably enough - water has a higher capacity for heat than antifreeze does. Running 100% water is not a good idea though, even in the hottest of temperatures. There are (usually) additives in antifreeze that serve to condition and lubricate the cooling system, primarily the water pump.
Pure ethylene glycol actually freezes at about 8 degrees fahrenheit.. The key is in the mix.
Boiling Point: 100 degrees celsius Freezing Point: 0 degrees celsius
No, 100 C is the boiling point of water.
Zero freezing point and 100 degrees boiling point is on the Celsius Scale.
quit cheating hoe and do your aplus on your own :)
0 and 100 0 and 100
Putting 100% "straight" antifreeze in your car's radiator will expose the cooling system to freezing at a much higher temperature than would the appropriate and recommended mix of roughly 50/50 antifreeze and water. Antifreeze works best WITH water.
the freezing point is 100
Freezing point of water is 0 C and boiling point is 100 C.
the freezing point is 0 degrees and the boiling point is 100 degrees
The freezing point of water in Celsius is 0 degrees Celsius.
100
Freezing = 0 degrees Celsius (0oC) Boiling = 100 degrees Celsius (100oC)It depends on the object you are talking about. The boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celsius, and its freezing point is 0 degrees Celsius.
0 centigrade is freezing point of water. 100 c is the boiling point of water, by defination.
Boiling Point: 100 degrees celsius Freezing Point: 0 degrees celsius
Freezing pt is zero. boiling pt is 100
No, 100 C is the boiling point of water.
It is centigrade, which is now known as Celsius.
