The fuel mix for the mculloch 60012312 is 40:1.
usually 32:1
normal unleaded fuel mix depending on manufacturers specs some 25-1 some 30-1
use newer synthetic oil. it covers a broad range of fuel/oil ratios with one mix. it will allow you to use one fuel mix for all your 2cycle equipment. not marine though.
Generally the ratio the oil is blended for. Most are 40:1 or 50:1. Most containers of oil are made to mix with a certain amount of gas.
40:1 with high quality 2-stroke oil mix would be fine. http://store.chainsawr.com/
Mix air,heat and fuel.
40:1. A 40:1 ratio is obtained by mixing 3. 2fluidounces (95ml) of oil with 1 gallon (4 liters) of unleaded gasoline. The owner's manual for your saw can be found at McCullochpower.com
I checked a number of different sites and most recommend 40:1. One user recommended 50:1 and the Mac I had a few years ago, as I recall, recommended that mix. The slightly richer mixture of 40:1 is always safe but it will smoke a little more.
When came out it called for 16:1, but with todays fuels 32:1 mix of a good quality oil will suffice. Most 50:1 oils should work but get a name brand
