I owned this car is high school and the most I ever got per mile was 12 miles per gallon. City driving netted around 8 miles per gallon at best. This is not the best car if you are trying to conserve on gas.
I have a 1995 Skylark and you should expect anywhere from 17-25 mpg depending on your driving. If you're in the city a lot, expect around 17 but expect mileage in the low-to-mid 20's if you use the freeway more often.
Your Gas tank is exactly 15.2 gallons from the factory...I have a 96 Skylark Grandsport.
When owning or driving a car, it is important to know the cars gas tank size. The 1997 Buick Skylark has a gas tank of 15. 2 gallons.
Anywhere from 16 to 19 mpg.

The fuel filter on a 1994 Buick Skylark 2.3L is located underneath the car, centrally located between the rear wheels, behind the gas tank. The fill hose for the gas tank will lead you passed it.
When looking into owning a gas mileage is an important factor. The gas mileage for a 1983 Buick Lesabre is 17 miles per gallon city and 24 miles per gallon highway.
It has the same effect on most cars. A tune up will give you a slight increase in gas mileage, and may give you a smoother ride. It will not cause any major improvements though.
Its in the gas tank, i replaced mine 2 mths. ago.
