most two stroke engines need a 2% mix, no reason for this to be different but you should look at the manufacturer recomondation and follow it.
Husqvarna fuel mixture ratio is 50:1
50:1 gas to 2 cycle oil.
It's 40/1.
50:1 was the called for mixture with an oil made for that ratio.
The mixture is a 40:1 ratio, that's 3.2 oz of two cycle oil to 1 gallon of gas
25:1
50 to 1
50:1 -Matt
If, like most weed eaters, it is powered by a 2-cycle engine that has oil mixed with the gas, yes, it will be harmful to the car. If nothing else, the oil will foul the spark plugs and damage the catalytic converter.
40:1 owner's manual for a homelite st 185 trimmer says 32:1
regular 87 unleaded gas from any gas station. if it is a 4cycle then you will not have to mix gas and oil, only 2 cycle engines require mixing the oil and gas. (this is the same for edgers, weed whacker (weed eaters) any kind of gas powered lawn equipment.
